What if I were to tell you that a 70-year-old raised seventy thousand dollars for cancer by kicking field goals. Crazy right? Well, the Colts Fans at Lucas Oil Stadium couldn’t believe it either.

When something seems too good to be true, it usually is. In this case, the kicker wasn’t a seventy year old, but he was retired. After making the final kick the man revealed his true identity as former Colts punter Pat MacAfee.

In a post kick interview Pat MacAfee showed his love for Indianapolis “This is the greatest city on earth,” he said. “And ladies and gentlemen, it was my honor to raise $70,000 for cancer research. Sorry, I missed a couple…” he said according to CBSsports.

All proceeds from the kicks went to the IU center for cancer research.
